Individualized Yoga Practice

Wether in the classroom or a private setting, Sarah is concerned with serving the individual student. Trained in Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Vipassana Meditation and Classical Sanskrit Grammar and texts, Sarah is not just a run-of-the-mill teacher. Her dedication to her daily practice is what offers her the grace to instruct. She teaches weekly group classes at Satya Yoga in Rhinebeck and privately in New York City and around the beautiful Hudson Valley. 




A strong and flowing practice, Ashtanga Yoga comes from a 2500 year old tradition. For best results a 1 month commitment to daily practice is recommended.

Breath awareness is the organizing principle of Vinyasa practice. A focal point is chosen to direct more awareness and deeper opening towards, and sequences are tailored around that theme.
